About

Built for the restaurant on the corner.

Not the chain expanding into its 50th location. The independent spot with real character, real food, and real regulars, running on software that finally fits.

§05Our story

We got tired of watching great restaurants use bad software.

Ordr Ring started as a frustration. We kept seeing independent restaurants: the ones with real character, real food, and real regulars, stuck on POS systems that were slow, expensive, and clearly built for someone else.

So we built the thing we wished existed. A POS that runs on the hardware your team already has, that you can set up yourself, and that doesn't nickel-and-dime you every time you want a new feature.

We're starting with Austin because we know this city's restaurant scene. We want to get it right here before we go anywhere else.

“If your POS needs a technician to change a price, it's working for someone other than you.”

The Ordr Ring team

Austin closed beta

We're onboarding a small group of Austin restaurants to test, give feedback, and shape the product. Free during beta. No commitment.

01

Independent-first

We built this for the restaurant that's been on the same corner for 15 years, not the franchise expanding into its 50th location.

02

Mobile-native

Not a desktop app crammed onto a tablet. Ordr Ring was designed for iPhone and iPad from day one.

03

Honest pricing

A flat fee plus a tiny, transparent rate. A fraction of what the giants take, with no surprises and no hardware upsells.

04

Built in Austin

We're local. We eat at the restaurants we're building for. That keeps us honest.

How we operate

Restaurants come first

Every decision starts with whether it makes a server's shift smoother or an owner's week easier. If it doesn't, it doesn't ship.

Earn it every month

No long contracts, no lock-in. We charge a flat fee plus a tiny, transparent rate and you can leave whenever you want. That keeps us honest about delivering value.

Local, on purpose

We're starting in Austin because we can show up in person, learn the room, and get it right before we scale anywhere else.
