Features
Everything it does, today.
Every capability on this page is live for founding members right now. Nothing here is coming soon, greyed out, or waiting on a release.
Taking orders
Guests order from their own phone, so nobody waits for a person to walk over.
Scan to order at the table
Prints one QR placard per table that opens your live menu on a guest phone with the table number already filled in.
Guests stop waiting for someone to walk over and take the order.
Order ahead for pickup
Guests browse your menu on your public page and place a pickup order that reaches the kitchen once they pay.
Pickup orders stop coming in over the phone while someone is mid-service.
Order without making an account
A guest can scan, order and pay without creating an account or downloading anything.
You stop losing orders at a signup wall.
Guests filter the menu by allergen
A guest hides dishes containing an allergen you have tagged, and a dish you have not tagged stays visible marked as having no allergen information.
Nothing is ever shown to a guest as safe when you have not said it is.
Guests cannot order when you are closed
Once you set your hours, the ordering page stops taking orders outside them and tells the guest when you open next.
You stop finding an order on the rail forty minutes after the kitchen went home.
Bookings
Appointments that hold the right amount of time and cannot be double booked.
Book several services at once
A guest or a staffer stacks more than one service onto a single appointment, and the chair is held for the total of all of them.
A cut plus a colour stops being two bookings you have to tape together and hope nobody books between.
Two people cannot take the same slot
Two guests tapping the same open time at the same instant cannot both get it, and a double tap cannot create the same booking twice.
You stop opening the day to two names in one chair and having to call one of them back.
Move a booking through the day
Mark someone arrived, done or a no-show, or cancel them, with cancel asking you to confirm by name first.
You stop guessing at the end of the day who actually showed up.
The schedule keeps itself current
A booking made by a guest or by someone else on your team appears on the open schedule without anyone refreshing.
The front desk and the back room stop looking at two different versions of today.
Getting paid
Card money lands in your own bank, from a phone the guest already owns.
Set up payouts with Stripe
You click one button in the dashboard and finish Stripe's own onboarding to connect your bank account.
You do not have to open a merchant account somewhere else and then wire it into our system by hand.
Let guests pay from their own phone
Print a code for each table and a guest scans it to order and pay on the phone in their hand.
You can take a card without buying a card machine and without a staff device leaving the counter.
Guests pick their own tip
The guest chooses the tip themselves before paying, including no tip, and it is calculated before tax.
Nobody at your counter has to ask for a tip out loud or key one in for someone else.
Guests email themselves the receipt
A guest who paid types their address and has the itemized receipt emailed to them.
Your staff stop being the middleman for every receipt request.
Running the floor
See how service is going without standing in the kitchen or walking the room.
Set up your tables
Add a table, renumber it, or take it off the floor yourself, with history kept under the old label.
You can change the room when you add a two top or pull a table for a private party, instead of filing a request with us.
Kitchen right now
Shows each station with how many tickets it is working, how old the oldest one is, and how many were abandoned.
You can tell whether the kitchen is behind without standing in it or calling someone.
Your kitchen's timing target
You say how long a ticket should take in your kitchen, and the oldest ticket is coloured against it.
Late tickets stop being a matter of opinion, because the number they are late against is the one you set.
86 a dish and put it back
Mark a dish sold out and it stops being orderable everywhere at once, and restocking puts it back.
The front of house stops selling something the kitchen ran out of an hour ago.
Count down a limited item
Give a dish a count and a low stock number, and every order counts it down until it marks itself sold out at zero.
You stop having to remember to pull the last six specials by hand in the middle of service.
Flag an order with a reason
Mark an order for attention and type why, then see the flag and its reason on the order afterwards.
A problem order stops being something you have to remember to mention at handover.
Today at a glance
Puts today's orders, revenue, average check, the live kitchen queue and your most recent tickets on one screen that updates itself.
You stop walking the floor to find out whether the night is going well.
Today's digest
Turns today's revenue, orders, tips, top sellers and sold out dishes into a short plain English paragraph on one button press.
You get the end of day story without reading four charts.
Ask about your own numbers
Ask a question about your sales in plain English and get an answer from your live order data.
You stop needing to know which report holds the answer.
Activity log
Shows every comp, void, item edit and cancelled split on your orders, with who did it, when, how much and the reason.
You stop having to trust that nobody is quietly comping their friends' meals.
Export to CSV
Downloads the numbers on screen as a CSV you can open in a spreadsheet or hand to a bookkeeper.
Your accountant stops asking you to retype figures out of a dashboard.
Getting found
A place on the neighborhood guide, switched on by you and nobody else.
Go live
One button puts your business on the public guide, and it unlocks only once your payouts, your address and your menu or service list are in place.
You never have to guess whether you are ready to open, or email anyone to be switched on.
Turn your listing on and off
A switch shows or hides your business on the public guide, and turning it off never breaks the links you have already handed out.
You control whether strangers can find you, without asking anyone and without losing your own page.
A live map guests can browse
The guide carries a real map guests can drag, zoom and centre on themselves, in both light and dark.
Guests browse by place, the way they actually decide where to go, instead of reading a list.
Your opening hours
Set your week once, including split shifts and windows that run past midnight, and the guide tells guests whether you are open right now.
Nobody turns up at a locked door, and nobody scrolls past you because your card cannot say you are open.
Your name and neighborhood
You set the name and the neighborhood guests see on the guide, plus the timezone everything else is measured in.
You are filed under the neighborhood you actually trade in, spelled the way you spell it.
Moving your business re-checks your listing
If you change the address your listing was granted for, we take you off the guide and you put yourself back on in one tap.
Nobody can quietly move a listing to an address it was never checked against, and you are told before you save rather than after.
Setting up
Get your menu and your team in without typing a hundred dishes by hand.
Scan your menu in
Photograph or upload your menu as images or a PDF and it comes back as an editable draft you approve before anything goes live.
Nobody has to type a hundred dishes in by hand to get started.
Snap the pages with your phone
The dashboard shows a QR code, you photograph your menu pages with your phone, and the photos land in the scan workspace on your computer.
You stop emailing photos to yourself or hunting for a scanner.
Scan again without making duplicates
A second scan matches what is already on your menu and marks each row new, changed, unchanged or needing a decision, before you commit anything.
Rescanning after a price change stops creating a second copy of every dish.
Menu sections
Create a section such as Brunch or Happy Hour, and switch a whole section off when it is not being served.
A seasonal section stops needing to be rebuilt from scratch every time it comes back.
Take an item off the menu without deleting it
Switch a dish off so guests stop seeing it, and switch it back on later with its price, photo and tags intact.
You stop deleting dishes you plan to bring back and retyping them next season.
Your options library
Build reusable option groups once, such as Temperature or Add ons, with rules for how many a guest must pick and how many they may.
You stop retyping the same add on list on twenty different dishes.
Put options on a dish
Tick the option groups a dish should carry and they appear for anyone ordering it.
A new dish that takes the usual add ons stops needing its options built from scratch.
See what a group is used by before you change it
Every option group shows how many dishes use it and names them, before you rename it, reprice it or delete it.
A quick edit stops silently changing dishes you were not thinking about.
Invite by link
Creates a single use link for one email address and one role, and the new hire opens it and sets their own password.
You never type, know, or store a staff member's password.
Edit what each role can do
Turn individual abilities on and off for a whole role, such as whether servers can comp an item, and reset a role to the defaults in one press.
You stop choosing between trusting everyone with everything and doing every sensitive task yourself.
Who can invite whom
A manager can only invite people below them, and only an owner can invite a co-owner.
Nobody on your team can quietly hand themselves or a friend more access than they have.
Make someone a co-owner
Give a second person owner level access without handing over the primary owner seat.
A partner or a general manager can run the place while the business stays yours on paper.
Give someone a one-time sign-in code
Read out a short code that lets a locked out team member set a new password themselves, with no email needed.
Someone with no working email address still gets back on the floor, and you still never learn their password.
Getting set up
Shows which setup steps are done and which are left, computed from your real store record, with a link straight to the one you still owe.
You stop wondering why you cannot go live yet.
Signed in devices
Lists every browser and device signed into your account with when it was last used, and signs any one of them out, or all but this one.
You stop worrying about the iPad you lent someone or the laptop you sold.
How the money behaves
Not settings you turn on. This is how the payment lane works, every time.
- Our fee is calculated on food and tax only, so it never touches the tip.
- Card details are typed into Stripe's own hosted fields and never reach our servers.
- Re-tapping pay, changing the tip, or two guests grabbing the same share cannot produce two charges.
- If your Stripe account is not ready, we refuse before a guest ever sees a card screen.
- An order is marked paid only when the money actually settles at Stripe.
- An order a guest abandoned mid payment is cancelled on its own instead of cluttering your queue.
- Charging switches on by itself the moment Stripe finishes verifying you.
Software fees and Stripe processing are charged separately. The pricing page has the numbers.
Built for the work you do
The same system, described in the words of the trade it serves.
